Clarinda Tjia-Dharmadi is the global Co-chair of the firm’s Power Industry Group, specializing in international project development and finance transactions. Ms. Tjia-Dharmadi has more than 18 years of project development and finance experience, which includes the representation of governments, owner / developers, sponsors, commercial lenders, multilateral agencies and government export credit agencies on a wide range of projects, including many of the Asian region’s landmark oil and gas, petrochemicals, mining, power and infrastructure projects.
Ms. Tjia-Dharmadi has significant expertise in the Indonesian oil and gas sector, having advised oil majors, foreign investors, the Indonesian government, state-owned entities, Pertamina, the Indonesian Ministry of Mines and Energy, and the Indonesian oil and gas upstream regulatory agency, BPMIGAS, on Indonesia’s largest oil and gas and petrochemical projects.
Ms. Tjia-Dharmadi also has regional corporate experience and has been involved in structuring and completing cross border joint ventures, mergers and acquisitions and private entity investments for US and other international clients on a variety of structured transactions involving multiple jurisdictions. She has advised debtors and creditors on several of the largest and most complex debt restructuring in Asia.
