Latham & Watkins partners Jennifer Perkins, David Brown, Jason Silvera and John Giouroukakis have been recognized in the The M&A Advisor’s 2012 “40 Under 40” awards. In its third year, the annual “40 Under 40” awards seek to recognize the accomplishments and expertise of leading M&A lawyers in three regions across the United States.
Perkins, a partner in the New York office, was a winner in the East Region. Washington, D.C. partner David Brown was a winner in the Central region. Jason Silvera, a partner in Latham’s Los Angeles office, was a winner in the West region. And John Giouroukakis, a partner in the New York office, was recognized as a finalist in the East region. Perkins, Brown, Silvera and Giouroukakis were selected “among a prominent pool of nominees based on their accomplishments in mergers and acquisitions.”
The M&A Advisor noted: “In 2010 we initiated the 40 Under 40 Awards to recognize the emerging industry leaders. This year our judges reported that they were truly challenged to select just 40 winners and 20 runners up from such an accomplished group of Awards Finalists.”
