IPO Vital Signs ranked Latham & Watkins #1 in initial public offerings (IPOs) for 2011. Latham, which handled 23 percent of all IPOs globally, served as a legal advisor on 33 IPOs, with a combined value of US$5.5 billion in 2011. For the second year in a row, Latham ranked first as both counsel to issuers with 14 IPOs and as counsel to underwriters with 19 deals.
This is the ninth consecutive year that Latham & Watkins has been ranked as a top five law firm in IPOs.
